Kate Healy

Kate initiated her journey in the design realm as an intern at Dennis Wedlick Architect, presently recognized as Barlis Wedlick, an esteemed firm specializing in residential architecture and design nestled in Tribeca, New York City. This significant chapter laid the foundation for her successful design voyage.

Following successful tenures at Florida design firms ADD Inc. and Arquitectonica, she took the plunge to establish her own firm. Kate's early ventures encompassed projects ranging from developments along Las Olas Isles to revamps in Key Largo and South Miami, catalyzing a consistent upward trajectory in her business. Additionally, strategic collaborations with Touzet Studio enriched her proficiency in architectural intricacies and high-end decor elements.

Following the addition of two children to their family, Kate and her husband, Tom, made the decision to relocate from Florida to Raleigh, North Carolina. Even after the move, Kate continues to serve her clients in Florida and maintains an office in the state. Her enthusiasm for expanding her business in the Carolinas, throughout the East Coast, and even Colorado has been fueled by upcoming projects in Aspen, Virginia, and the bustling city of New York, showcasing her dedication to growth and development.

She considers what she does to be a privilege. Individuals approach her with what they perceive as a pressing need, like a kitchen that yearns for transformation. Kate sincerely appreciates when her clients entrust her with the opportunity to craft their living space. It's a sacred canvas where cherished family moments unfold - from cozy gatherings to the joys of parenthood, every corner resonates with stories waiting to be shared. Designing these spaces is a responsibility she values immensely, knowing the impact it has on daily routines and significant life events.
